1 X Fixed Term Contract 0.4fte          Teacher's Main Pay Scale T1 - T6  £22,917 - £33,,824 pro rata

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for supporting schools and settings in assessing and meeting the needs of pupils who are international new arrivals (INA) or from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) communities. You will  assess the English language competence of pupils for whom English is an additional language and be responsible for the forward planning of teaching/learning strategies and experiences to improve the self-esteem and confidence and develop competence in English in preparation for transition to mainstream schools or colleges.

You will be a qualified  teacher with an enthusiasm for working with INA and GRT group pupils in all key stages. You will be well organised and able to plan and deliver a varied curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils. You will be able to offer advice and guidance to colleagues in a number of settings and have effective communication skills.

You will be joining a committed, enthusiastic  and supportive team who are keen to further  develop  and nurture links so that we continue to  meet the changing needs of families, schools and the wider community to ensure positive outcomes for all young people.
