Schools ICT Technician

Salary:        Grade D £19,171 - £21,166 (pro-rata)
Hours:        37 - Term Time Only
Contract:    Permanent

The role will involve working in various schools across the borough providing daily ICT administration, maintenance and support.
Whilst having the backup of the team, the post will involve the individual organising their own workload as required when they attend site and ensuring appropriate communication with the customer to ensure their needs are met.

You will have a sound knowledge of ICT support and maintenance, be motivated and able to organise your own workloads and provide good customer care.

The Schools ICT Unit provides a range of ICT services to schools across Bolton. This post will be working in the onsite technician team, in an allocated set of schools, working directly with the schools to ensure their ICT needs are met.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  A DBS check is therefore required for this post.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.
