Team: Community Safety Services
Hours: 37 hours
Grade: 8 Scp33 £29,909 - Scp 37 £33,136 plus essential car user allowance
Contract: Fixed term Contract for 12 Months
Location: The service is based at the Town Hall, 3rd Floor, Bolton (The role will be based at Multiple sites)
Essential Requirement: Full Driving Licence

The Role:  The post will play a vital  role in how the council works with stakeholders to respond to community safety issues at both an operational and strategic level. The post-holder will respond to crime and disorder threats adopting proven problem solving techniques that contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and action plans. The individual will adopt effective practice principles when implementing multi-agency responses and influence the use of appropriate tools and powers to tackle crime and disorder ensuring collaborative working between key stakeholders.

About You:    You should have experience of developing and delivering interventions designed to prevent crime, anti-social behaviour and the fear of crime. The post-holder will be self-motivated and confident with a sound knowledge of the relevant legislation. You will be a strong influencer with an understanding of how partner agencies can contribute to delivering community safety outcomes. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to deal confidently and effectively with the public, elected members, and other partner agencies.
