Location: Heaton Fold Garden Centre Café
Salary: Grade B £9.36 an hour

Requirements: Candidates must be aged over 18 as the café is licensed to serve alcohol.  You must also hold Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

The Role:

- The successful candidate will work in the busy garden centre café at Heaton Fold providing excellent catering services for all our customers. 
- The grade of the post is Grade B (SCP 3) which is currently £9.36 per hour.
The successful candidate must be able to work Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays in accordance with garden centre opening. 
- Additional hours may be available on weekdays during busy periods.
- The standard 5 hour working day is 1030-15.30. Applicants must be aged 18 and over as the premises is licensed for sale of alcohol from the café.

About You:

Applicants should be able to demonstrate good knowledge of food preparation and food hygiene, have excellent customer care skills and experience of cash handling. The post holder will be responsible for cleaning work areas and appliances, completing and recording daily compliance checks and maintaining health and safety standards in the work environment.
