This is a key role in supporting the inclusion of children and young people across the borough, including managing the interface between schools and the Local Authority in relation to the admission, attendance and behaviour of vulnerable students.

This role involves the co-ordination of In-Year Fair Access panels and a variety of key service management responsibilities including significant trading functions.

We are looking to appoint an energetic, strategic leader to work with partners across the education service in Bolton, playing a vital role within the Education and Learning division of the Department of People. 

The successful applicant will manage the relationship between Bolton Council and Bolton Impact Trust and is therefore central to the Council’s statutory and leadership responsibilities around inclusion. You will have experience of managing at a senior level within a large and complex organisation, a substantial understanding of inclusion services for children in education and experience of working in partnership with schools to develop provision for children and young people with additional needs.
