Early Help Targeted Youth Support Worker

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the new Targeted Early Help Service.  The postholder will play a vital role in case holding and act as Lead Professional to provide Early Help support to young people and their families.  The role will also be part of delivering Team Around the School approaches and support the strengthening and embedding Early Help processes across the partnership.   This role will quickly establish effective working relationships with partners as part of a shared approach to Early Help to deliver the best support possible to young people and families. 

You will be passionate about Early Help and working with Children and Young People, with operational experience of working with young people and families, in relation to delivering targeted interventions.  You will have a good understanding of Early Help with a successful track record of working with partners, undertaking Early Help Assessments and providing direct support and interventions.  You will be positive about change and have an understanding of the need to consistently support change in order to drive service improvements, to deliver the highest quality support and interventions to young people and families.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.
