VACANCY

TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 WITH SNA ALLOWANCE

SALARY:  Grade D, Scale points 6-11   (£19,698 - £21,748 pro-rata)

SNA Allowance:  £1,324 per annum pro-rata

START DATE:   SEPTEMBER 2021

STATUS OF POSITION:  12 MONTHS FIXED TERM – TERM TIME + 5 DAYS

HOURS:  28 HOURS PER WEEK – MON-FRI

St. George’s C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a person who has experience working with children with special needs and has a willingness to work as part of a team.  The role is fixed term for 12 months term time plus 5 days. The successful candidate will need to:

·         Provide one-to-one support

·         Have experience working with children with social and emotional difficulties in Key Stage 2

·         Provide support for teaching and learning activities

·         Contribute to children’s development and safeguarding

·         Provide support to develop the learning environment

·         Have an NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent in Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
