TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 3

(COMMUNICATION AND INTERACTION)

Grade 5 SCP (21 - 25) Actual salary £12,567 - £14,140 – Plus SNA £773              

26.67 Hours over 5 days – Term Time plus 5 days

 

 ‘Helping every person achieve things they never thought they could’

 

The post holder will be a member of the School’s Inclusion Team working under the supervision and direction/guidance of the Head of Inclusion (SENCO). You will be required to work in a variety of ways to ensure that students with additional needs are fully included in the life of the learning community and have equal opportunity to fulfil their potential. As a Teaching Assistant you will:

Ø  Mentor students to identify specific learning needs

Ø  Coordinate learning targets for students with SLCN / ASD needs

Ø  In liaison with teaching staff, provide suitable programmes of academic and social education for pupils with SLCN needs and ASD

Ø  To support individuals/groups of pupils within learning support
