Essa Primary are looking for Teaching Assistants to support children in both our key stage one and two classes. Working under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, the successful candidates will assist the teacher in the teaching and management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

The post is 21.25 hours per week. Hours of work are 8.15am-12.30pm Monday to Friday. CPD will sometimes take place on a Wednesday until 4:45pm. Overtime will be paid as required.

Term Time plus 2 days. These 2 days are in addition to the days that pupils attend and normally occur at the start of each academic year. All staff are required to attend.

Grade D, Scale Point 6 (in the range 6-11), £19,171 per annum FTE (Actual salary for 21.25 hours, term time + 2 days £9,310 pa approx.)
