Trainee Early Years Educator (Apprentice)

 Salary £18,065 (Per Annum)

Approximately 12 – 18 Months until qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Childcare

Total hours per week:  37 hrs all year round

Required from ASAP           

We are seeking to appoint a Trainee Early Years Educator (Apprentice) to join our enthusiastic and committed team within our Day Care Centre.

The apprenticeship is to prepare the candidate to work with children from 6 weeks of age to 4 years old.  A tutor from Bolton College will attend the setting regularly.  They will provide you with written tasks, assignments and observe you in the setting.  Nursery & Day Care will support you throughout your training and once you qualify you will be supported to find employment.      

Candidates will work alongside experienced staff to gain experience of working with children and gain a sound knowledge of childcare practices and the Early Years Foundation Stage.

They will also be required to have a flexible approach to working hours.

The successful candidates will join a dedicated and highly motivated team of staff and will be expected to maintain and develop our high standards of care and learning.

Must have Maths and English GSCE ‘C’ or above.
