Principal Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer

Location: Bolton Town Hall

This post will play a vital role in ensuring services are safe and  high-quality. You’ll join the team at an exciting time when the Department is seeking to reshape its Quality Assurance and Commissioning functions, as we look to better meet the needs of, and deliver successful outcomes for, our customers.

 
With a demonstrable understanding of the operation of Health & Social Care Services, and excellent all-round communication skills, you’ll design and deliver quality assurance and improvement processes for health and social care services. You will prepare and write complex reports and plans to support the Department’s improvement objectives.  You’ll also need well-developed networking and influencing skills to build relationships with internal and external customers. 

Working  in a busy office environment, you will manage a dynamic team of officers responsible for monitoring the quality of a range of health and social care contracts and services. You will work directly with providers, commissioners and partner organisations to continually improve services as well as managing a number of specialist improvement areas. 

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.
