Behaviour Support Mentor

Raise the Youth Foundation is a not for profit social enterprise delivering targeted youth, education and wellbeing services. We run a number of services including Raise Education and Wellbeing School which provides bespoke and tailored trauma informed and attachment aware education services to children and young people who have SEMH needs and have not thrived in other education provisions. We also deliver several community-based services, including our SOS Connected youth and community programme.

We have a multi-disciplinary approach with team members from several professional backgrounds, including education, social care, health, substance misuse, criminal justice and youth work.

We are looking to add to our team by appointing a Behaviour Support Mentor to work as part of the wider school/college team to support safety, wellbeing, teaching and learning.

We are seeking a highly resilient, adaptable, positive and solution focused person who shares our ethos, cares about children and young people and understands that their challenging behaviour comes from their challenging lives. As a highly-committed team player, the successful candidate will have the drive, energy and passion to help to develop and shape our, forward-looking and innovative company. Applicants must be willing to lead by example and play a full part in the organisation’s drive for outstanding practice and all-inclusive ethos.
