School Meals Supervisory Assistant
Grade: Grade 2 Scale point 10 £15,613 pro rata
Hours: 7.30 hours a week, term time only, 11:55 am – 1.25 pm
Responsible to: Principal and Line Manager
Main Duties:
- Work together as a team to assist with the care and general supervision of pupils during the mid-day break which includes bringing children in for their meal, assisting children with any problems they may have and ensuring that the tables are cleaned.
- To encourage, organise and play with the children during dinner break, including getting out and putting away play equipment.
- To supervise children in classrooms during wet weather.
- To use the current behaviour system effectively. Reporting any major incidents to the Team Leader and all accidents to a First Aider.
- To meet together from time to time to discuss these arrangements.
