We have a permanent vacancy for a SENDCO to lead our large SEND provision   from             September 2021 which includes a 16 place ASD provision. With the support of a large experienced SEND Team, an Assistant SENDCO and speech and language therapist, primary SENDCo and a strong Senior Leadership Team you will be shaping provision for our young people with SEND including a funded ASD provision, to ensure they are happy, safe and fulfilling their full potential from ages 3-16. We are looking for an existing, qualified SENDCO who is ready for the challenge of leading a large SEND Department at a fully inclusive all- though school with an opportunity to shape whole school provision as a member of SLT.

 ·           someone who is committed to their own professional development;
 ·           someone who can quickly build rapport and effective professional relationships with both our young people and colleagues.

 In return we can offer:
 ·         the opportunity to work with our motivated, ambitious and caring students;
 ·         a school culture that understands the importance of staff wellbeing and workload management;
 ·         a supportive and encouraging staff team;
 ·         an environment that is fast paced, exciting and innovative, where improvement is encouraged and change is actioned;
 ·         a rigorous and motivational weekly programme of continuous professional development and a pathway to middle and senior leadership opportunities across the schools in the MAT;
 ·         fantastic facilities;
 ·         a long weekend at the end of each November in honour of Saint Catherine’s day (25th November);
 ·         a laptop to use whilst in employment;
 ·         a paid premium to a Healthcare Cash Plan to claim back contributions towards dental, optical and other medical costs;
 ·         24/7 access to an Employee Assistance Programme;
 ·         access to a Cycle to Work Scheme. The schools of The Bishop Fraser Trust aim to offer:
 ·         a high quality, inclusive and distinctive education;
 ·         a caring and nurturing environment based on our Christian values, recognising the uniqueness of each child.
