Vantage Academy Trust are currently recruiting casual minibus drivers to support trips on an ad-hoc basis.
Please note many journeys take place at either end of the school day; however, a number will be at other times. This role will suit somebody with flexibility in their week.
Salary: £10 p/h
About the role:
You will be driving children and staff to sporting events, school trips and other school activities on an ad-hoc basis. You will ensure that the passengers in your care have a safe and enjoyable journey.
About you:
You will have a current full, UK driving licence with PSV entitlement and ideally experience of driving a minibus or similar size vehicle. Experience of undertaking regular vehicle checks to ensure they are in a road worthy condition would also be useful.
In addition, you will have the following attributes:

• Timely, reliable and trustworthy
You will have excellent communication skills to engage with a range of people including school staff, children and adults, some of whom may have learning difficulties and/or display challenging behaviour.
