Early Year’s Educator working in the nursery school on Martha Street, Willows Lane Bolton BL3 4 AH
Grade  B scale points 3-4  £18,065 - £18,426 pro rata (£14,292)   for 34.5 hours a week Monday to Friday with between 8.50 and 4.10 This post is term time only with 1 extra week for training days and is temporary to cover Maternity Leave until May 2020, or until the return of the substantive post holder.

The successful candidate will be employed by the school governors on behalf of the Local Authority. This post is subject to a six months probationary period in line with Local Authority Guidelines.
Primary Purpose of the   Job

Candidates will need to have  To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of senior management staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all children and assistance and support for behaviour.

Awareness and understanding of the statutory and learning requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Knowledge of how effective learning can be planned for and assessed in reference to the Early Years Foundation Stage
Knowledge of child protection protocols and Framework for Action
The ability to observe children and keep up to date records and assessments
A sound practical knowledge of child development
A knowledge of how two, three and four year olds develop and learn
An understanding of how to provide appropriate learning environments and activities for  children of this age
