The Role
Key duties include:
· Bar service across 3 bars within the Albert Halls Complex
· Cash handling and operating EPOS electronic till system and card machines
· Providing excellent service and customer care
As the service operates over 7 days all year round, the nature and demands of the post holder’s time will be rotered to meet the theatre and event programme. This will be evening and weekend working.
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working in a bar/hospitality environment, and have experience of cash handling and the use of EPOS electronic till systems and card machines.
This is a highly visible customer facing role within the Albert Halls. A high level of customer care is essential.

You will be a part of a dynamic team working in the Grade II listed Albert Halls complex, which officially re-opened in April 2017 after a £6.5m upgrade.
Its meeting rooms and facilities play a pivotal role in the Council’s civic life and it has long been a place of family entertainment, performance and celebration. At the heart of the building is the 673 seat theatre and other rooms, such as the Festival Hall, Banqueting Suite and Lancaster Suite have long played host to wedding receptions, parties, dinners, banquets and functions.
