Work Location – Bolton based but expected to travel around services

Hours of work – 37 hours per week

21 days leave plus bank holidays

Job Summary: 

Are you an energetic and credible leader with an unparalleled knowledge of HR, great communication and influencing skills and the ability to work at pace and drive through change?
 
Could you work with our leadership team to create and deliver a workforce strategy to help us meet our strategic goals?
 
If so, you could be the ideal person to join Bolton Cares as our Head of HR.

The ideal candidate will have:

·         At least 5 years’ experience working in a senior HR role in the social care sector.

·         Experience of developing and delivering workforce strategy, including learning and development.
 
·         Policy development experience.
 
·         Experience providing HR support to change projects.
 
·         The ability to support managers to be self-sufficient in managing their teams.
 
·         Experience managing employee relations.
 
·         Experience of implementing ICT systems to modernise HR services.

You will be part of our leadership team, develop and deliver our workforce and learning and development strategy, manage our HR and workforce development team, implement new ICT systems to modernise our people management and create a policy and procedural framework that allows our people and our company to succeed.
