Bolton Council Strategy Policy and Partnerships Unit are seeking a Senior Information Analyst Officer Grade 7 (£26470-£29909) full time 37 hours per week. The Strategy, Policy and Partnerships Unit works closely with service managers within Department of People and other partners to help drive and enable improved outcomes for the people of Bolton.
 
Candidates should be able to assimilate large amounts of data quickly and comprehensively using a variety of software packages to support the provision of high quality analysis, intelligence and spatial data to managers and staff throughout the department and other partner agencies.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data to a range of audiences in a way that is accessible and easy to understand. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative whilst being enthusiastic and flexible in your approach are key to this post. You must demonstrate the ability to use research and analytical skills to undertake analysis of complex areas and statistical data.

Help support the improvement of outcomes and planning of services for adults, children and young people in Bolton by producing a range of data analysis products.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.
