A job vacancy is now available at Winifred Kettle Centre in Westhoughton, as a Support Worker 28hrs per week.  The rate of pay is £8.75 per hour. 

 

You will work flexibly supporting older people in our Day Centre to engage in Social activities and provide personal care 4 days a week on a rota basis including weekends. 

The role involves working with older people with Dementia and long term health conditions who may be socially isolated. 


You will ensure that individuals needs are at the heart of everything we do and the provision of support is delivered in line with person centred plans. 

Applicants must have experience of supporting adults with a Disability and be able to develop supportive relationships that promote choice and Independence, which also respects the diversity and differences of individuals. 


Our Daycare Service delivers high quality, compassionate care and support to help local people live better lives, including those with a diagnosis of Mental Health, Autism, Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Dementia.


We will provide a range of training and development opportunities to the right candidate.
