with a Level 3 Qualification or above in Childcare

to cover Maternity Leave

Required from:   ASAP

Total hours per week:  22.5 hours, all year round 1.00pm – 5.30pm Monday - Friday

                                        12 months Fixed term contract

                         

Grade: B point 3-4                                     Salary: £10,985.47

Primary purpose of the job: To support senior staff to provide a stable and secure environment for all children to meet their social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs. 

Directly responsible to: Day Care Manager/Headteacher

Principle Responsibilities:

We are seeking to appoint an Outstanding Early Years Educator to work within our double awarded outstanding Nursery School & Day Care who is passionate about Early Years.  Candidates must be enthusiastic, committed and motivated to work under the instruction of senior staff with a great work ethic.  The candidate will be working with children aged 2-3 years of age and must have a sound knowledge of the EYFS principles and practice.  The candidate will be have key children and will need to have experience of observing, assessing and planning to contribute to their learning journals.  Good communication skills are essential to liaise with parents, carers and other professionals

Candidates must have/hold

·         A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years

·         An excellent knowledge of the EYFS

·         A good safeguarding knowledge

·         Previous experience of working with children from birth to 4 years and in particular 3 - 5 year olds.

·         A real passion for delivering the very best childcare possible

 

 

The candidate will be expected to attend staff meetings and some overtime may be available.

The successful candidates will join a dedicated and highly motivated management team and will be expected to maintain and develop our high standards of care and learning.
