FOOD/ART TECHNICIAN  REQUIRED

28 hours per week, term time plus 5 days

Grade 3 £17,391 - £18,672, pro-rated

Could you help and encourage children to be excited about cookery?  As you passionate about your culinary skills, have a catering background and want to share this with the next generation of budding chefs.

The school is graded outstanding and has a great reputation in the local area, with on-site parking and a local train station within walking distance.

We are looking for someone with:

·  A genuine interest in food/art technology.

·  Proven experience of catering and food preparation.

·  A working knowledge of food hygiene and a qualification in this area would also be appropriate, ie Hygiene Certificate.

·  A patient approach towards working with children.

·  Excellent organisational skills.

·  A strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team.

·  A professional attitude.

·  A track record of successful experience of working in supporting learning and teaching in a secondary setting.

·  Good behaviour management skills

·  Excellent communication and time management skills.

·  The drive and determinate to capitalize on the school’s outstanding success.
