Salary                        Equivalent to NJC Scale SCP 35-42, £30,785 - £37,306

Hours                         Full time – 37 hours per week

Birtenshaw Adult Care Service is recruiting a Head of Service.

Birtenshaw is a dynamic and expanding charity that provides a unique range of services for children and young adults with special educational needs and disability. Our vision is to ‘Brighten Lives and Build Futures’ for these young people in Bolton, across the North West and beyond.

The overall purpose of the role is to ensure the provision of outstanding services, promote the welfare of service users and ensure they are protected from harm.

The successful applicant will operate as part of Birtenshaw’s senior management team, with overarching leadership and management responsibility for up to six front line services.

Compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks and organisational policies and procedures will be integral to the role.
