Birtenshaw is a dynamic and expanding charity that provides a unique range of services for children and young adults with special educational needs and disability. Our vision is to ‘Brighten Lives and Build Futures’ for these young people in Bolton, across the North West and beyond.

What we offer:
· We offer full time support worker contracts with a regular shift pattern set in advance. We also have a number of vacancies for weekend support workers (14.5 hours per week).
· Our support workers are based in teams in one particular location, although on occasion staff may be asked to cover elsewhere.
· Group Income Protection Scheme. This provides a guaranteed income for employees who are unable to work as a result of illness or injury.
· Employee Assistance Programme. A 24 hour helpline from Health Assured to support you through any of life’s issued or problems.

Salary: £16,755 - £17,972 per annum (plus the opportunity to earn an additional £2500 for additional responsibilities)
