Salary: Grade
C £18,933 - £19,6989 (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: 18.5hrs
& 37hrs (Monday–Friday & weekends, some
split shifts to meet service need)
Contract: Permanent
Working as part of a team you
will provide soft-facilities management support at Start Well Children’s
Centres borough-wide, in line with the Council’s standard operating procedures.
You will have a flexible
approach to responding to the needs of the service and be able to provide the
facilities management for service buildings to ensure they provide a safe and
healthy environment for all service users.
You will be responsible for
the maintenance of site security opening and closing buildings and ensuring all
facilities in and around the buildings are in excellent condition, safe secure
and clean at all times and all equipment is maintained and resources available.
Duties will include general repairs, manual handling, painting of small areas
and general upkeep of the building reporting any maintenance issues to the
relevant department. Fire safety and general Health and Safety checks to the
building with regular training where applicable. Essential car user as travel
to other centres will be required.
