Support Workers-Older Peoples Domiciliary Care

20 Hours per week

£8.45 per hour

The Role

The role involves working with older people with a variety of needs  to help them live more independently at home by supporting them to undertake daily living tasks and maintain their home. Key duties will include personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, meal preparation and light domestic duties. 

You will ensure at all times that peoples needs are at the heart of everything we do and the provision of support is delivered in accordance with these needs and in line with person centred support plans.

About You

Applicants must have experience of supporting adults and be able to develop supportive relationships that promote choice and independence .  You must have a desire to enhance individuals quality of life and make a difference to the people you support . 

A Full driving licence and access to a car is essential as there will be a requirement to travel in a geographical area.

The nature of this role requires a degree of flexibility
