The Sensory Support Service has a vacancy for a Team Leader for Children and Young People with Hearing Impairment.

We are looking for an experienced, innovative and highly motivated teacher of the deaf with highly effective staff management abilities and experience of successful partnership working with families and other agencies.

You will lead a small team of teachers of the deaf working across a variety of settings, so strong leadership skills are essential.  You will have a positive attitude, outstanding communication skills and the ability to think and plan creatively.

This post offers the opportunity to work for a Service that believes:-
• The needs of individual pupils should determine their levels of support
• Teachers should be involved with pupils not merely advising colleagues
• The essence of quality of provision, is quality staff who enjoy working together in a supportive atmosphere
• The focus is the child not the paperwork.

The successful candidate will need to drive as you will be travelling to various settings.
