Part Time Receptionist
12.30pm – 5.00pm Term Time Only
£8,949 actual salary

The post is part time and term time only. A flexible approach to working hours will be required to enable effective support for evening events such as Parents Evenings, Open Evenings and any other events which may require the services of the Administration Team.

The successful applicant will be required to:

• Manage the college switchboard in a professional manner, including a prompt, efficient and polite response to both internal and external telephone calls, appropriate messaging and making external calls as appropriate.
• Welcome all visitors to the college, issuing appropriate ID and recording relevant details in the visitor record book.
• Receive parcels and incoming mail, including special and recorded deliveries, completing the appropriate paperwork.
• Work with the college student liaison team to ensure the integrity of access to the building is maintained and students are adhering to the policy relating to ID badges.
• Ensure that the main reception area is tidy and free of any clutter, adopting a clear desk policy.
