The Role

To directly supervise Housing Options team covering all aspects of delivery and development of a high quality Housing Options & Advice Service to customers seeking assistance including homelessness  prevention and vulnerable households requiring homelessness assistance, working together with other Team leaders to co-ordinate, supervise & deal directly with all aspects of the Housing Options and Homes for Bolton service.

Initial 2 year fixed term.

About You
 
You will have good knowledge and understanding of matters relating to housing need being able to support an holistic approach to housing options and homelessness prevention with the wider team and partner landlords. ü  You will have good capacity for assimilating technical expertise and to make decisions on complex circumstances and often challenging cases. ü  You will have excellent communication skills to: support the necessary networking and negotiation; to supervise, motivate and manage staff; be an excellent team player whilst being able to work on own initiative. You will be competent managing / using complex ICT systems.
