37 hours per week, permanent contract

Experienced administrators are required to work in the Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) which is based in central Bolton.  The RAA is a collaborative arrangement between six local authorities with the aim of improving placing children into adopted placements across the region.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for providing a range of high quality business services to the Agency, including servicing around two Adoption Panels per month.  This includes ensuring venues are booked, organising invites, co-ordinating documentation and then attending and taking minutes at the Panel.  These Panels may be held outside of Bolton, for which expenses are paid.   

You must be proficient in Microsoft Word and have accurate typing and minute taking skills.  The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and experience of dealing with both internal and external customers are essential to the post.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative in an often sensitive and confidential environment are also required.
