School Business Manager - Clarendon Primary School
School Support Staff

The governors and Headteacher of Clarendon Primary would like to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated School Business Manager to join and lead our Office team.
37 hours per week, term time plus 20 days.  Grade 8 Scp 33 Permanent

We need someone who:
• has proven experience of managing budgets
• can help maintain the premises and related Health and Safety procedures
• has the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholder relationships
• has experience of managing a team
• will be able to exercise discretion and confidentiality
• is forward thinking, proactive and approachable
• has a strong work ethic and sense of humour

• are a large two form school in a state of the art new building
• are a very committed and enthusiastic school community
• are passionate about teaching and learning

Key areas of responsibility will be:
• Finance – securing financial sustainability in the medium to longer term
• Administration – ensuring delivery of core reporting with both internal and external stakeholders
• Personnel – managing and leading the current team
• Premises – supporting and line managing the current Site Manager & Caretaker in maintaining and enhancing our current facilities and health and safety requirements and regulations
• Grant Applications & Procurement – applying for and managing external bids, contracts etc.

With a strong finance background and excellent leadership skills we are inviting applications from highly competent and reliable individuals wishing to join the staff and governors in further developing our ambition.
