Assistant ICT Business & Relationship Partner

You will be working with a wide range of Council service teams identifying how existing or new ICT solutions, and in particular Office 365 applications, may help them improve the delivery of their services. You will be involved in defining projects that align and deliver against the Councils digital strategy.

Using your ICT technical knowledge to identify which products may assist and supporting the business area in project managing the implementation and embedding of any new solutions.

 

You will be working alongside the ICT managed service partner and their technical and support teams to assist in delivery as well as assisting the monitoring of how they are delivering the service across the organisation. 

 

You will be approachable and have the confidence to deal with staff at all levels across the council, ICT Partnership and the ICT Managed service. You will bring strong analytical skills to identify the key issues facing the business area and be able to clearly explain the technology solutions that may solve them. You will have likely been involved in supporting users or delivering systems in your current role and bring those skills to play across the wider council. You will have an understanding of technology (application, server and Office 365) and how all the elements of IT combine to deliver solutions to the user. You will have been involved in delivering ICT projects and have a understanding of project methodologies to meet time cost and quality criteria. You will be supported by experienced colleagues in delivering solutions and additional technical or project management training will be available.
