School Meals Supervisory Assistant 
Grade B, £3028.88 per annum
Hours 7.50 hours per week, Term Time only
Permanent Position
Starting As soon as possible

The Governors of St Mary’s CE Primary School, are seeking to appoint two School Meals Supervisory Assistant, to work with and supervise our children over the lunchtime period. Successful candidates will work as part of our enthusiastic, caring and committed team.

The candidate needs to:-

• Have high expectations for all children.
• Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them with respect, consistency, consideration and warmth
• Supporting and encouraging the children to eat their dinner.
• Supporting children in the dining hall and on playground.
• Encourage play with the children and introducing new games.
• Work as part of an effective team.
• Supervision of queues whilst waiting in the dining room.
• Support in leaving the dining room in a tidy condition.
• Securing the safety, welfare and good behaviour of the children in accordance with the schools behaviour policy.
• Ensuring that all pupils return to the classroom.
• Maintain confidentiality
• Be punctual and well presented
• Any other appropriate duties commensurate with the grade of the post which may be required from time to time.
