Experienced administrator are required to work in the Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) which is based in Howell Croft, Le Mans Crescent Bolton.The RAA is a collaborative arrangement between six local authorities. Its aim is to improve placing children into adopted placements on a regional basis.
Working as part of a team, the post is supervised by the Senior Lead Administrator.
The main duties are as follows:
General Typing
Excel Spreadsheets
To contribute to the arrangement and setting up of meetings, events and conferences
To attend meetings to take notes/minutes and produce appropriate final documentation
To assist with the management and the organisation of diaries including business travel
Telephone calls
You must be proficient in Microsoft Word and have accurate typing skills, Excel and PowerPoint. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and experience of dealing with both internal and external customers are essential to the post. Excellent communication skills are an essential part of the post.
This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.
