Teaching Assistant Level 2 plus SEN
Required: 8th January 2018
Salary: Grade 4, Points 17-21 £17,772 to £20,138 pro-rata
Sen Allowance: £1,239 pro rata
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time plus 5 days
Status: Fixed-term for 12 months. May lead to permanent
Closing date: Noon Friday 15th December 2017
Interviews: Tuesday 19th December 2017 to include observation
The staff and Governors at St Peter & St Paul’s RC Primary School are looking for a Teaching Assistant Level 2 plus SEN. We are a multi-cultural school which has a vibrant and caring Catholic Ethos running through everything that we do.
We are looking for someone who
· Is a patient, kind and proactive individual to work with children with specific SEN and behaviour needs
· Is caring and flexible and who will enjoy working as part of our excellent staff team
· Has a good understanding of education and is able to extend young children’s learning
· Is able to support the class teacher and SENCO in all aspects
This post will also cover some dinner time duties.
