Alexandra Nursery School and Daycare centre has the following vacancy from January 2018

 

 Early Years Educator Salary: Early Years Educator Grade 2 points 11-13 - £15,807 (pro rata)

35 hours a week 8.45 - 4.15 term time + 3 days.

 

 

Status: Fixed term contract from January 2018 until 31st July 2018 to support a small group of children accessing inclusion support

An experienced Early Years Educator is required to work with children within The Early Years Foundation Stage in this Outstanding (Ofsted 2015) nursery school and day-care centre. The role will supporting individual children’s needs on a one to one or small group basis, within the Nursery school on Martha Street, Bolton. This school and children’s centre has children and staff from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Many languages including English are spoken in the school.

The post involves the following

·  Working in a team of staff  within the nursery school.

· Supporting children with additional needs including communication, social skills, behaviour and routines.

·  supporting individual children with learning needs

·  Writing and following individual plans and keeping assessments

·  Supervising children at dinner time if needed.

·  Planning and setting up an appropriate environment and activities.

 
Key skills for the job

 

· Experience of working with 3 and 4 year old children in a nursery setting and an understanding of how they learn.

·  A sound understanding and experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage

·  Experience of working with children working below the expected levels under the direction of the school senco and teachers

 

The school was judged to be outstanding by OFSTED in March 2015 The daycare part of our provision was also judged to

be outstanding in 2016. All staff are committed to providing the best education and care for all children and work

to a high standard. Working in our school will give opportunities to develop skills and understanding alongside a team

of experienced and knowledgeable practitioners.

The successful candidate will be required to start at the beginning of the spring term subject to enhanced DBS.
