Bolton Cares Ltd is Bolton Council’s new care company and major provider of care within the Borough. We are now looking to recruit friendly, compassionate and dedicated care workers to assist vulnerable people in our Supported Living Services. 

Supporting and caring for the people who use our services is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have and we are keen to hear from those who would like to join our team.  You will support people with all aspects of their lives, from taking part in leisure and learning activities to supporting people in their own homes with everyday living.

Bolton Cares Ltd can offer comprehensive training, supervision and support.  Previous experience is an advantage but is not essential as training will be given to those candidates with the qualities we are looking for.

SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES

Community Support Worker Grade 4   (30 hour per week contracts) £17,267 per annum, £8.95 hourly rate (plus enhancement for weekends). 

Supported Living Services enables people to continue living in the community, safely maintaining their own lifestyle with choice and independence. The service provides a range of personal and physical care services and also support with practical matters, including help with budgeting, cooking and social skills. These services are offered in supported living accommodation or through our outreach services in the person’s own home. The role will involve contributing to meet the identified needs of service users in a person-centered way, including the administration of medication and supporting individuals with their personal care. 

You will be supporting people with a disability, this maybe a  learning or physical disability, including complex health needs, autism, mental health issues, and may include people who present challenges.

This role operates on a rota basis over 7 days including weekends for which an additional enhancement is paid.
