Grade 5 Scp 21 £20,138 to Scp 25 £22,658 per annum.


Bolton Council Albert Halls have recently undergone a 6.5 million pound refurbishment and has an exciting theatre and events programme to host with significant opportunities for expansion in the coming years. As a direct result we are seeking to appointment an experienced Technician to support the delivery of the programme.


Good communication and organisational skills are essential for dealing with large scale events involving members of the public. You should also have experience of working with artists and road crews in a theatrical environment, be capable of moving and handing heavy weights and working at heights. Experience of operating sound and lighting equipment is essential. The ability to supervise a team of staff will also be part of the role.

This is a full time position, the hours of which will be varied, including evening and weekend working which attract an additional supplement. The post is offered initially as a fixed term contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
