Ladywood School is a primary special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. There are currently 107 pupils on roll. Ladywood is designated as a National Teaching School and is commissioned by Bolton LA to offer an Outreach Service to all mainstream schools.
Ladywood has been judged as an outstanding school by OFSTED on 3 consecutive occasions, most recently in January 2016.

Ladywood is at an exciting time in its development. We have recently completed a large building project which has provided us with fantastic new facilities and increased our capacity to 130. We are also in the process of applying to form a multi academy trust which will cement our ongoing partnership with Firwood High School in Bolton.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly Outreach Team supporting children with SEN in all phases of mainstream schools across Bolton. Candidates must hold a relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), have a full driving licence and access to a car for work use.
This post is permanent 32.5 hours (term time only + 5 days).
Salary: Grade 7 Point 29 – 33 £19348 - £21862 per annum (Actual Salary)
Plus Essential Car User Allowance
