Grade D Scp 6 £23,893 to Scp 11 £25,979 pro rata to hours worked

(£12.38 to £13.46 per hour)

Permanent Contract

Essential Qualification – NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking

Desirable Qualification – Level 2 Food Safety

 

 

The Role:

The overall management of a school catering operation, monitoring and controlling the catering service to ensure that quality and consistency of service are maintained at all times.

This role is term-time only.

 

Locations & hours –

Cherry Tree (The Orchards) Highfield Road, Bolton, BL4 0NS

35 Hours per week

 

Job Description

 

About You:

Good practical skills are essential for this hands on role.  You will need to be a great cook, determined, energetic with great organisational skills, used to cooking for large numbers, and ideally have a school catering background with an understanding of portion control, budgets and ordering. The role involves working in various school kitchens so enjoying meeting new people and great personal skills are needed for this role.
