Job Description

 

We have two exciting opportunities for experienced Administrators to join the ‘Bolton Family’ and be a part of our administration team supporting Children’s Social Care Teams.  

 

Role one 3 days Wednesday to Friday

Role two 2.5 days Monday and Tuesday all day and Wednesday morning.

You will join a committed team who are proud of the service they deliver to help children, young people and families achieve their potential. Training will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.  

 

The administrator role is key to ensuring the smooth running of services and the role is exciting and varied.  Duties include (but are not limited to): 

·         You will be preparing and sending out standard letters and emails

·         You will be collating various document and checking all relevant details are completed

·         Monitor the team inbox and deal/signpost any queries as required

·         Provide admin support for the Team/s

·         Complete statutory checks as required

·         Update database and trackers

 

You will work closely with the Admin Team Leader, Teams and other members of the Admin team.  Training will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.

 Candidates’ preference, experience and knowledge from the application and interview will be considered to place successful candidates in relevant post.

 

 

About You

 

You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing.

You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision.

You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work.

You must possess accurate literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed.

You will have experience of using a range of computer software packages including Word, Excel and Outlook and be able to use these packages to produce accurate, well-presented information.
