Grade: C, scp 4 £19,327 to scp 6 £19,978

Contract: Permanent 

Qualification: NVQ Administration Level 2 or word processing/typing qualification to level 2 or two years working in a busy office environment

Job Description

 

Working as part of a team to support the Early Intervention Service, the role covers a variety of duties.

Your main duties will include providing administrative support for Chaperone licences and child performance/employment licences, along with processing penalty notices linked to non-school attendance.

You will undertake general administrative duties that include:

·        providing an effective and efficient administrative service

·        delivering an efficient front line service for customers

·        supporting and maintaining the use of databases and information systems

·        receiving, sorting and co-ordinating the distribution of mail

·        ordering specified goods and services

·        assisting with petty cash

About You

 

Are you able to support and maintain the use of information systems including databases?  Are you able to plan, organise and develop your work to meet specified requirements and deadlines?  If so, we want to hear from you.

 

We are looking for a person who can:

·        Work as part of a large team

·        Provide administrative support

·        Liaise with families, schools and other agencies

·        Attend meetings and take notes/minutes

·        Has experience of using a range of computer software packages to produce accurate, well-presented documents

·        manage their own workload to be able to meet deadlines

·        You must possess accurate literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and are proficient in the use of information technology systems

·        Wants to make a difference to lives of children and young people
